In 5 years all these hyphy cd's are going to be rotting in dollar stores and thats a afact. alot of these songs just get played out quick and the albums are just bullshit quality. like the keak albums labels are dropping every 3 minutes, turf talks album was forgettable, all these thizz relases nobody gonna be listening to in a few years, NONE of this shit is timelss. the jackas album was the closest thing to classic ive heard from the bay in like 3 years. even the e40 albums with the rick rock production gets boring in 6 months.

It's not a fact until it actually happens! This is solely an opinion from a wannabe Nastrodomus.

Turf Talks debut album still slaps in my book mang! Not all of E40's albums is on that hyphy shit! WTF you talking about? Grit and Grind slaps! Breaking News was kind of on that hyphy shit but it still slumps in my book too mang!

I can admitt that The Federation's shit will get old quick! That ain't no lie mang! They only make dope hyphy club songs for all the hyphy heads regardless if they squares are gang banging foolios! yee yee!

It could never die.. for the fact theres a young audience in the bay.. so any kid who moves here or lives here quickly will pick up on the hyphy, going dumb, thizzin, stunnerz and when they get their license.. Scrapers.. But what i think will happen is.. 5 years from now.. someones gonna bump hyphy or super hyphy in a club.. and go.. YEEAH thats the joint of my prime.

i agree, cuz everybody in the bay is coming out with all this hyphy go dumb shit, it was cool from like janurary to maybe august/september now all these maybe 70+ cds i bought that came out this year are already startin to get old IMO. the reason is that there isnt really any originality in any of the beats, its basically a drum line some loud bass and some synthy ass shit. It seem that all the cds i bought are all the same. I am actually getting so sick of it, Im startin to buy cds from different regions like NYC, Dirty South, North (Detroit) etc. The only cds i still play regularly play are the jack artist, body shotz, dopegame 2 and turf talks new cd. They need 06 to bring back that old mob shit and maybe have a couple hyphy tracks on em, or try to mix some mobb shit with some club shit mixed into one.

There hasn't been many albums in general that have been very memorable in quite some time, most of the shit whether it be rap, rock, R&B etc is all watered down crap nowadays that has no longevity. Only albums I've gotten in a couple years that I see myself giving steady play through the test of time are The Jackas solos. That hyphy shit is cool for the clubs but ONLY bay heads are feeling that shit. That shit couldn't make it through the song in New York or ATL without getting cut off, kinda like no one likes that Go Go shit besides in the DC area. Some shit only has regional appeal and thats just how it is

Personally i didnt think Killa Tays, Celly Cells, AP-9's or Guce's albums were on the "hyphy" tip..............not ONE BIT......they had their usual gangsta shit sounds....they didnt have droop-e beats or anything.........

i cant stand the hyphy shit either bro!!!.......the shit just gets SUPER fuckin old quick......and ive been lovin bay shit for close to 2 decades!!!!!!!!.....its depressing
