I'm too old to give a fuck. Honestly, I just laugh and keep it movin'. My homie says it all the time and he's Mexican. Its not anything I get all worked up about. I always wondered what people's (non African-American) motivation for sayin' it was. When you say it, are you meanning for it to be inclusive to all races?

I laugh when people say its slang. Slang for what, "homie"? If thats the case, why not just say homie?

When I lived in Alabama, the first thing I heard out of a white classmate's mouth was, "Get dat nigga," and the dude was walking around with his arms bowed out and a mean look on his face, like he was a tough guy. The dude was a bitch. Having grown up a military child and only being used to a very small group of black guys saying it, I met shocked as shit when I moved to Alabama and heard everyone using it.

Now, it doesn't bother me like it used to. In all honesty, I think it's funny, because it's damn near impossible to take someone who uses the word or defends it seriously.

My black friends and I joke about our races constantly...I'm never like 'nigga this, nigga that' about shit w/him. The firecrackers from growing up sounded lame saying it.

But growing up listening to the Cash Money/No Limit/ Big Boy types forced me to say N-words when I sang along...I mean, c'mon.

I was outside a hip hop show downtown about a month or two ago, and this white dude called his black homie "nigga"
but man this other black dude over heard it and almost whooped his ass... haha. even tho the one guy was cool with it, still didnt work for some others...
