but i just can't help it. This is for the whole Siccness, but mostly for the black users. How do yall honestly feel about the use of the N-word outside the African American community? I'm asking this because it seems like the shit is being accepted everywhere like it's a master card or sumthin. I'm just not with it. I'm 19, I've seen white boys get fired on for calling the wrong person "nigga." As well as Mexicans. I'm scrolling down facebook today, and I see this half white half asian kid's status talking about "bout to get high wit my niggas." I know the kid we played on the bball team together in high school, he never said that shit to my face or to any other black person's face (to my knowledge). And in general I've been noticing more and more non-blacks using the shit (not to my face). It's just unaccetable to me. I'm ranting right now Siccness somebody tell me something...

when i was in southern cali, i was confrontational about it

when i moved to san fran and saw that asians say nigga every 8 seconds, i realized i cant take off on the entire asian population in the bay area ages 14-18 so i just left it alone

im over it, if people wanna look dumb in front of me thats ok with me, say nigga and dont be black all you want, all i really think is youre trying to say it to sound cool

i think alot less of it if that person is from the hood
but its whatever if you have respect you wont say it to me or youll ask me about it first..

its about not wanting to offend the person

i guess youve never had a conversation with a person of color that went past drugs, sometimes you get into conversations and people want to know how you feel about 'the n word' being used, kinda like this conversation itself.

Aye Gas bra i feel wat u sayin, im hoping I can get to the point you at where you just say fuck it, cuz right now im not feeling like that. Especially seeing people that have no business saying that shit i feel like stomping they ass out. Maybe I should lead by example and stop saying it myself.

but see, when im around my latino homies i dont be usin they lil terms, i would not dare call a mexican person a wetback. now terms like 'paisa' some people take offense some people dont. so if i say it i might ask you if that shit offends you so we clear in the air and i dont get looked at funny.

what bothers me is this, white kids who yell out "NIGGER!!!" as an exclamation, or like saying "FUCKING A!!" and then turn around and feel like that shit is okay to say because it wasnt about a black man. say that shit and imma have an issue, but it always happens online, like on xbox live.

and one thing about saying nigga, i can sense a persons uneasiness or uncomfortableness with saying the word. if you dont feel comfortable saying the shit you shouldnt be saying it.

and about the myspace-white kid thing where theyre like 'imma go kick it with my niggas!' its like, those are people whom i would never, ever kick it with. we would never know eachother, wed never be homies. so in that sense its like who gives a fuck yaknow. they squares as far as im concerned because anyone real wouldnt step on toes like that.

its cool if you joking tho, i know homies thatll be tellin a joke or something and theyll say nigga, im not gonna jump down a persons throat about that. but if you just sayin the shit for no reason pretty much i just judge your character on that but im not gonna say much..im just not really gon fuck with you...i got homies that arent black that i dont have a problem saying nigga cuz theyre around me and we make fucked up jokes so id be a hypocrit to be mad at that.

but if you just in the streets yellin nigga this and nigga that man i question your identity

yeah, I think more black folks should regulate when someone who is not african american descent is using the N word. I cant stand another mexican using the N-word like its in style or something.

and on the same hand, i know puerto ricans or samoans (whattup licwit, young sau) that honestly, it never dawns on me that they arent black because were just...i dunno, in the same struggle? so if either one of them said 'my nigga' to me i wouldnt even think about it.

ive called another black person a tar baby before, same shit...racist comments in a joking fashion or maybe not even a joking fashion, but just messing around w eachother

maybe its because i live in san diego who knows

the thing that trips me out is when a black friend of mine says to me "wut up my nigga".. what the fuck am i supposed to do?? say wut up my "amigo?"... if blacks are so concerned about the word being derogatory, just quit fucking saying it, or get a fucking patent pending, copyright on that word so yall can have the exclusive rights to the word... i was raised in oakland, so i'm more than comfortable saying that word because everywhere i go it is being used so freely..
