MLK had commercials too and it didnt sell shit. People on MTV are not gonna buy this album. Like disco said theres no promotion for this at all and as much as i hate to say it, he probably wont hit ICP's numbers.

yall are some negative mutha fuckas man... 4real!
Its hard to sell alot of albums and go mainstream when theres no promotion for it. People that watch mtv jus sit there and pay no attention to those commercials. They wont go out and buy an album of somebody they never heard of. Maybe if there was a single with a video and they seen the video and was feelin the song. But the album drops tomorrow still no video. Weezy's Lolipop video was on MTV for at least a month before the album dropped. Look what his album did.

Thats why im negative. Its not at all i dont want to see tech and strange succeed. I also know it takes money to make money. Where does all the merch, ticket, album and dvd sales go. I understand also everyone working there needs paid too, but im sure they could afford to make a video before killer dropped if they wasnt gonna send out promo.

Im done now... Best of luck to strange, im sure yall know more shit than me so DO IT BIG

Man after the whole summer jam concert, on his site says there's no more tours for like a month, so I assumed this free week he had something big up his sleeve. Freakin International Players Anthem by UGK took 18 hours to make and everybody loved that shit. I thought there was going to be atleast one final, big move to try to get heard since Tech is talking about giving up and shit. Idk though, maybe he's got a plan and we just gotta wait, but right now I don't see anything. People here call this being negative and w/e but like somebody on DX said,

but TECH N9NE, I WISH YOU WERENT INDEPENDENT, GET YOUR BUISNESS GAME UP AND GET YOUR EXPOSURE, CAUSE OBVIOUSLY WHOEVER IS HELPING YOU MAKE DECISIONS WITH YOUR CAREER ISNT WORKING...THIS ISNT HATING, CAUSE AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, YOU STILL SEEM "STUCK" IN THE SAME PLACE..

I don't think ya'll are taking into consideration how big he is getting. Last yr his concert wasn't sold out in my neck of the woods this yr it is. Also the guest appearences alone should be causing enough hype about the album. Third when his last cd everready came out he had be gone per say for 5 yrs. Now he has had a couple cd's come out so he should see a bigger turn out for this one. Although with his cd leaking two weeks before its debut it might hinder him a lil bit but i do feel he has been reaching more people and that will show.

That's some pretty small milestones don't you think? I mean it's great, and to the ones busting their asses small things like that mean a lot but, looking at the big picture it's...

yeah I mean its not as big as being on TRL or anything like that but for reaching 33k and surpassing that in the first week is plausible.

imo the leak won't hinder his sales, lack of promo will :hurt:
It doesn't when ur mainstream but being an underground artist it does. when only a small number of people know who you are every sale counts. When your selling millions of units not so much

Good to see Tech is spending money on trying to get MTV viewers to buy his albums.

FTI, we don't give a fuck about MTV or the mainstream!

But we really want exposure on there! Oh and we really want to do shows with Keyshia Cole! Because my fans aren't good enough, I want the black community and more white female teenagers that listen to the radio!

You can't say Fuck The Industry! then pay for advertisement on MTV while performing at horrible generic rap radio station concerts, a station that doesn't even play your music.
