I have a question for anybody. Feel free to give me your imput. Do you consider a CD-R a fake, if that's the only way that the CD came and you got it directly from the artist himself. Plus it was never, ever released as a Professional Silver Bottom Pressing? Is it a fake or is it official? Some examples of this is Young Bo - Looking Death In The Mirror (The OG Young Bo was Silver-Bottomed, but his re-release is CD-R), L-Love Releases and Even Andre Nickatina's - Unreleased CD. All of those items were put out by the Artist themselve in CD-R format only. Are those fake to you? Give me your opinion and I'll tell you why I'm asking in a moment.

I'm going to thank the Yes's and the No's ahead of time for there imput. Thank you and have a good day.

I feel...............if it comes from anybody BUT the the artist, then it is fake, bootleg, whatever.......

it doesn't have to be a "silver pressing" to be official, atleast to me......

It's legit. But the least you can do is mention it in the auction to cover your ass.
I assume you are talking about the Everlast N Drama album. A couple of people were talking shit about it.

Yeah. You're right. I know now to say it specifically, but doesn't some of that fall on the buyer? I mean, I don't bid on things that I don't know about. I've sold that same CD 7 times and on the last copy that I happend to have, I luck up and get some maniac. Here's the funny thing. I told Thatwinz69 to send the CD back for a full refund and he totally refused to. I was like, why not? He said that he doesn't have time and you better refund me my money within 5 hours or else. I told this crazy, deranged foo' that he had to follow my refund policy just like anybody else. My refund policy is posted on each and every one of my auctions. He refused to do so. Why? I mean, you're going to get your money back in full and you don't want to send it back? What type of shit is that? Am I wrong? You can't go to the local music store in your town and demand and I mean DEMAND your money back with out bringing the merchandise back to the store. What make me any different from the store? In all honesty, I believe that he was trying to have his cake and eat it too. Pull one over on me. If you don't like the damn thing...why not send it back for your money? Does that make any sense to anybody? That's not it, but I will stop there. I'm damn near ready to post all of his and my emails on this site so you guys can see how damn ignorant this Mutha is. In all of that...I still kept my coo' and remained respectful to him even though his request were foolish. He went as far to say that he would send it back, but only if he could leave feedback first. Now what the fuck type of shit is that? I don't understand his thinking. I just want to put all seller on notice about his antics.

I knew it.

It's unanimous!!! Everybody fells that it's okay or official. So did I. The only thing that I can say was my fault is the fact that I didn't think ahead and post it. At the same time, I wouldn't had driven the price up to an amount that I couldn't live with if I didn't know shit about the item that I was bidding on. Thatwinz69 is a cold piece. I feel that it's only right to expose his ass, since he's trying to slander my name, like I sell fake shit. Anybody and everybody knows that I always sell OG's and Original versions, even if the original version happens to be a CD-R. Thats why a lot of ya'll do business with me, because you know that you're gonna get the real deal Holyfield, not no re-release or somthing like that. For all of ya'll that knows this dude...get the word out on how much of an tyrant, idiot and liar he's is. Oh yeah, he said that he had an expert come over and check it out and all of this other bullshit? I was LMFAO!!! What expert and what qualifies him as an expert if he didn't know that the CD only came out that way too? Lol! Can you believe the mess that came from his mouth? Lol! I couldn't help but laugh at that one.

Yes.

If the artist himself/herself released it on a CD-R, and that's the only way it will ever be released, then yeah. I consider it an official release, especially if there is artwork on the CD-R itself.

Yep, There was artwork on the CD, Back Insert, Front Insert and a inside tab on the front insert that stated what CD's were coming out soon. Keep posting your thoughts on all of this. I can handle the good and the bad comments...as if anybody would disagree. That's why I brought this to the table. Thanks folks!!!

P.S. Here's his blog site, where he has pictures of the CD up and he's talking shit, trying to lie on a bruh. He claims that I wouldn't refund him, but I have all of the emails to prove his dumb ass a liar about that. Check it out. It has All of the artwork and everything just like I said. Here it is: http://thatwinz69.skyblog.com/

What Do you think?

What do you think about the fact that he didn't want to send the CD back for a full refund? Is it me or is that strange? I mean, I could understand if the seller was new, but I've been selling for a long time. It's quit obvious that I would take care of my customers. It's not a puzzle. Why would YOU keep a CD if you didn't like it and the seller offered you a full refund as long as you returned the product? Somebody give me a reason for this?

HAHA, he probably is a 15 year old kid with a lot of pocket money directly from his dad. Yeah, he wouldn't even bother to understand your mails because you tried to give him reasonable arguments that were waaay beyond his narrow English vocabulary.
considering the CD/CD-R question I have to agree with the other ones here. As long as it is the only, and the only official release then it's OK. I generally don't feel re-releases as CD-Rs but if that's the only available version unless I am selling my house, then I go for that one. but then I have to be 100% sure that it's from the artist and not a bootleg.

I guess you've learnt a very important lesson from all this because you should never underestimate your customers. People get all upset on the Internet, especially if they have a chance of bad-mouthing someone. even though you know it's an official release you should write and use thick letters, stating that it is a CD-R but that it is an official release. It doesn't matter who's wrong or right and should be responsible, in the end you'll end up wasting a lot more time arguing with idiots than the time spent on adding the extra line in the first place. Plus, you've probably got a negative feedback from this deal.
you could do like joe flores have done with the Nickatina unreleased CD. Inside the CD cover he put a small note on a little paper where he stated that this was the real deal even though it was on CDR, that it was sold out the trunk etc.
