I found out about em from my cousin he was playin 85 Dippin in his ride this was right before Money Motivated came out like in Jan 00.

I knew about the 206 click that use to kick it all around the 425.(when it was the 206) (44th block) I use to allways see J-Dub and BD around.

So I knew about them since like 95-96.
I been a F.T.S. fan since day one!

i was in a west coast chat room, and someone told me about syko's mp3 site so i went there and found SLRs website then eventually found the SLR message board!

I heard about SLR on the Siccness. I kept hearin' about how tight Syko was, so I hit up his MP3.com site and downloaded Written Testaments and bumped that shit on repeat for months. I got Sykotherapy and I was like "Damn!!". I bumped the album for a few months and then went back to the other SLR artists MP3 sites and listened to the tracks and decided to hit D-Sane about gettin' all the damn CD's. I couldn't be happier with my purchases. Every CD is fuckin' tight. I don't think anyone is fuckin' with D-sane's production right now......

At first I thought SLR shit was gonna be just straight corny....in 9th grade my folks told me about this group called Full Time Soldiers...some rappers outta the 206's north end. Of course at this time I had never heard of a rapper out the north end and I was thinkin it would be some fake, corny, wanna be gangsta shit. Then when I was at the mall, I ran into a couple of em (cant remember for sure who they were) and they gave me a flyer for Money Motivated. The fact that one of em was wearing a pair of torn, worn out sweats and a clown nose furthered my skepticism. But I remember after school on the last day of 9th grade, me and the homies were at my boy's house chillin and celebrating the occasion...I was fuckin BLOWN...and my boy puts in Money Motivated and turns it to 'Im High'. I couldnt say anything at the time cuz of the intense cottonmouth....but I was thinkin, "damn...these cats are tight like THAT?"

I got a good story about this...When I was in 7th grade one of my friends had a cd that she got on a bus from Drama, he sold her FTS-Full Time Soldiers....She told me about it, and I laughed my ass off...I was thinkin, "who the fuck are these guys? rappers from seattle? what the fuck?" Then about a year later after she played it EVERYDAY, I started to like it more and more, and now SLR is one of, if not, the tightest label in the NW....
