One of you guys on here must be doing this. They put in a new washer and dryer at my place and the shit is $1.50 + $1.75 and I have to use the dryer twice because my clothes are still wet. So how can I get this shit to work for free?

make sure you get the lint out the dryer shit before you dry.

and go to a hardware store and buy some washers that are the same size as quarters (circle wise and thickness) and see if that works. they used to work on arcade machines. I'm sure they are cheaper then a quarter a piece.

they were known as metal slugs or quarter slugs back in the day.

Damn, I thought this thread was going to be about how to do it for free lol.

It's a $1.50 at my place and I have the same problem sometimes with the dryer too.
That's why I put a question mark in the title...lol. When I first came here it was $1.00 for the washer and $.25 for the dryer. Later on the dryer slot jammed and it was actually working for free most of the time. Then they "fixed" it and it was $.50. There was a problem with the dryer starting though and replaced both last month with ridiculous prices.

thats shitttttttttttttttttty, my roommate and i decided to pay an xtra 40 bucks a month to rent washer/dryer so we didnt have to deal with that bullshit.

1.50 and 1.75 really aintt shit AT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL buuut it adds up after awhile, so thats why we got it. Plus its a lot nicer when ur chillin at ur own crib, and doin ur laundry ne ways.

i wash my clothes at my apt too, i usually spend 12-14 bucks on everything. I just hate having to go to the laundry mat to get all them quarters, i also hate running up and down the stairs every 30 minutes, cuz the place where we wash clothes looks like a fuckin dungeon. but id rather do it there then the laundry matt.

40 bucks a month adds up alot faster than 1.50 a week
