La and the bay are too different. The town will never be on LA hype cuz of that gangbangin shit alone niggaz can relate to the south more i guess. Imagine niggaz walking around with khakis and rags hangin out they pockets and shit.. not happening.

As far as grills niggaz been rocking grills before the south blew up but this whole infatuation with southern rappers in the town and just rappers in general is gettin a lil crazy tho. You got niggaz putting f baby and all that shit behind they names tryna lookl like lil wayne and all that shit even got niggaz naming they clicks after rapgroups... its sad.. not enough og's passing game

Actually, you do because its true. Dreads are NOT a Bay thing, yet folks try to pass it off as such. Wearin grillz did NOT start in the bay...go look at a Rakim poster from 1989. Ridin Dubs started with the SOUTH and has ALWAYS been a south thing...now you see sports stars, like youre beloved Baron Davis, rollin on em.

But, who gives a FUCK and why do people get all butt hurt when the truth is out? Who cares where something started or ended up? Just do what you do and everything will be OK....I promise.

hahahahahahahahahaha....Lowriders in LA were sporting Daytons before Cashmoney was even thought of.
Yeah he sounded real real dumb for that... Somebody needs to slap him in the head with a 13 inch D for saying that dumb sh*t...

Man the Bay has always been more like NY, but since niggaz move around a lot now, folks done found out that the A is real similiar to the Bay, but all around everyone copies everything from everywhere...If you think your city is the only city with swagga, with ballers, heavy hitters and all around tight ass cats, tnen you are highly mistaken. Almost all BLACKS in cali has ties to the south the same with NY and the Midwest, so if we all start acting liek southern cats, then we are just returning to our roots... Get off your own nuts nigga!!!

L.A GOT NO LOVE FOR THE BAY. Tell me the last time that an L.A rapper put a Bay rapper on a feature other than Snoop which was just recently. The south fu*ks with the Bay. Mike Jones, Lil Flip, UGK they all add Bay topics to their songs. The south grew up on the Bay and now we supporting them. It will come full circle.

Because alot of people from the Bay go to the South for college in ATL and take what we do out there and when they come home they bring some of that ATL to the Bay. I don't see shit wrong with it.

not really...the bay and the south have always had some kind of connection and I thinkit has a lot to do with families being in both regions and the colleges down there...it's like that in Long Beach too, you'll run in to more people from the bay(particularly Oakland) at Long Beach St, than anywhere else in Southern California. School has a lot to do with it.

I also don't understand why a south artist has to fuck with a bay artist for people to think that they're showin the bay love, when they have over time respected every aspect of the bay's game and influence...we can't sell records out here anyway so why would they want to?

grillz didn't start on the east either doe. all blackz came from down south unless u one of them africans off the boat. everybody went they seperate ways. grills were popular in the 70's, 80's, 90's, I was watchin some old ch. 2 shit on this old vhs tape and it showed hella shit from the past like high speeds, juri curls, gold teeth, etc. my grandma got grill, my aunt got grill, my uncle, and they neva been down south. and my cousin in the sco had a 740 on 20's in 95 so speak for ya muthafuckin self. plus I remember when cats were goin to durants and all that n jr high. how old r u kids?
