I have a PDF file I need to fax, but don't have a fax machine... Is there a website I can use? Free is preferred but I'd pay a one-time fee to send one fax.

Thanks

The only thing I have ever found is eFax, but you have to sign up for a free trial and then cancel. If you live nearby a grocery, UPS, Fedex, Staples, or Office Max store etc, they usually have fax machines.

Thanks

Also probably should have mentioned that I can't really leave the house right now, and by the time I'll be able to it'll be too late!

I have a fax machine..

I just bought it from Costco..it has Printer, Copy, Scanner, and Fax...
and pretty high speed. for home office..
all for the low price of $79 .
I'd buy a fax machine for home if it was 1990. However, it's 2008 and everyone except for this one person I need to fax something to (and yourself) use e-mail.

As long as you have a scanner to get the data in electronic form, you can fax pretty easy if using XP or later. If you are going to fax a lot, you will want to get an old fashioned fax machine.

Yup, your modem can work as the fax machine. Just make sure you have the telephone cable hooked up to it.

Then what you do is open up the document that you want to fax, go to PRINT, then from the drop down menu where you can select the name of the printer, select "Fax" instead.

I usually fax shit from Adobe Photoshop, but you can use pretty much any program, as long as it has a print menu.

I'm pretty sure this shit comes standard with XP/Vista, my comp always had it, I didn't have to install anything.
