Hooking car subwoofer to a computer????

Is it in a box? Do you have an amp? What kind of sound card do you have? Do you have a sound card?

Yes it is in a box and I have an amp. It's hooked up to my car right now but I'm makin a lil studio and want it for that.

And yes the computer has a sound card, idk what kind though it's my friends desktop.

I been hookin up car subwoofers to computers for years.

All u need is the audio cable adapter from Radio Shack that has the red & white plugs on 1 end and the other end plugs into where u plug in your speakers or head phone jack on your computer, then u hook in the red & white plugs into a home reciever stereo system with your subwoofers.

Its very simple.

aint that a bitch, ive had two 12 inch subs in a box and two amps sitting in the garage for more than 2 years now and i could of been using them for my computer all this time..dont know why i didnt think of it before, hittin radioshack tomorrow.
