The media called Gotti the teflon don, he didn't nickname himself that. Reason being, the gov't couldn't get a case to stick, thus the TEFLON DON name. He was, however, an idiot for going public. All he needed was his own stock and he woulda been the underworld's version of 50 Cent, all commercial and shit.
what most of the people on here are trynna tell you is yeah C-bo got hella foos and he makin sum grip but you can't compare him to the mob. Ima just reiterate what I stated before, being shoot em up and havin hella folks carry out your will reflects power. Maybe you're turning over sum money and you got that power but you're still livin life lookin over your shoulder. Does C-bo sport a vest? How many rappers sport vests. Now, how many old fellas that are CONNECTED sport bulletproof vests? People like these rappers you mention are the people the connected ones would hire out to do their dirty work. I'm assuming you're kinda young so you idolize the shootemup get crazy thang and that's all gravy homie. Just recognize that one day you gon maybe want a family and a life without worrying about gettin shot at. Whoa, are you a youngsta or what??? The Mafia didn't start fuckin with drugs until the 80's son, it's against the code, draws too much attention. I have a good feeling the mafia's business now involves scamming, stealing credit cards and buying hella electronics and sellin' them on ebay. I got took by a dude in Napoli, muthafucka was SLIIIIIIIIICK, he knew all the right buttons to push to get me to bite, plus they send fake ebay emails to steal sellers with good feedback. Also, I mentioned some time ago they got some italians going city to city selling fake versace jackets. I ALMOST got took it was hella close. They know all the right buttons to push, I gave dude the money but he slipped up on me and I took my money back. I had a funny feelin but dude gave me his passport to scan and what not plus he had a helluva fake itallian american accent, the scams are fuckin amazing.

to me most of da hip hop and shit aint really foreal wit da mafia stuff wit killins and stuff like that, there just movin what da society is at right now and just trying to make it stronger...it be rappers that have fun wit it with the lifestyle thats so popular here in the united states...they take the idea from the old mafias back in da day and call it u know black mafia for them to be in a stronger position..u see gangstas these days with guns and shit who are foreal with what they dealin in life..and it's of course it's gotten crazier though u see alot of niggas and lil kids runnin around wit guns and shit bein foreal wit da mafia or makin up there own clique...can't do nun bout it tho it's just life...
