I consider myself to be a Fried Chicken Connoisseur , yes im serious, and with that being said I don't feel KFC at all anymore. Church's chicken is decent and the sides and biscuits and the mutha fuckin jalapeno cheese bombers is on clap.

But nothing, NOTHING, compares to Popeyes as far as fast food fried chicken places. NOTHING!!! I went to Popeyes two days ago and got the 3 piece meal which comes with a free 2 piece meal with purchase, and also I got the extra Tuesday 2 piece special, just because it's 1.49. That's how real it is out here mayne!

Best Chicken - Popeye's
Best Biscuits - Church's (those honey biscuits...)
Best Gravy - KFC
Best Overall Sides - Tie between Popeye's/Church's
Best Desert - KFC (Fried apple pie!)
But maaan, they need to bring back Pioneer's Chicken.

Caesar's Chicken in Hayward is killing it on the fried chicken tip.... Porky's Pizza palace's fried chicken is the best though, imo.
I would take popeyes off your list hot and spicy.

nah, theres other LFC's in LA but the one on Manchester and Normandie is on some other shit I'm tellin you, yeah it might be ghetto as hell but fuck it the chicken is stupid slap.

whats so great about popeyes? their chicken pieces are hella small with lots of breading skin and bones, their sides are hella small, and everything is 'expensive' for fast food. i have to spend at least 10 dollars when i go there. between $10-20

None of them are GREAT to me but to each their own.

There's this other spot out here that was on drive in's, diners and dives that stays busy as hell and it's like 20-30 minutes from the city and people drive out there all the time just to eat there. I've never been there though. I might check it out
