Hey Siccness... Who has the best fried chicken?

Popeyes runnin their mouths on that new commercial saying it was voted the best chicken. I still think KFC og recipe is better AND their crispy chicken is better to me too. Church's sucks. What y'all think?


On a side note, I had the BEST fried chicken I've ever had in my life a couple weeks ago. Local spot here in OKC. They smoke the chicken for a little while, then batter and deep fry it and covered in some seasoning I couldn't even begin to guess what it was but it was kinda spicy, then they put honey all over it. I got it without honey but it was one of the best things I've ever eaten.

agreed. I love fried chicken so much that I actually rarely eat it. It would literally be the death of me and I would be 300 lbs.

Fried Chicken, good BBQ and Watermelon and there's a whole grip of all 3 of those here in Oklahoma. Y'all wonder why people are fat here.

out of the three fried chicken franchises, i would go with popeye's off top, then church's, and if i were ever to be deprived of fried chicken and kfc was the only place within 10 miles or something, then that's when i'd go there by choice...i really only like their hot wings, chicken strips, and cole slaw there.

every time a fried chicken thread comes up on siccness, i always recall gas talking about how much he hated kfc, talking about how colonel sanders was racist and how black peoples' bones were among the herbs and spices used in the recipe, lol.

I might be moving to LA area this year so I'll have to check those out.

Roscoe's is decent but NEEDS hot sauce or it's only subpar. I thought it sucked the first time but didn't put hot sauce.

I put hot sauce on a lot of stuff but fried chicken needs some spice to me.

This doesn't really count but I'm hittin up buffalo wild wings tonight which is kinda overrated but I still drill them boneless wings there.
