^^^^^ I feel ya homie. He's far from being the King of the Bay. If anybody's the King of the Bay it would Be 40 Water He's selling more then anybody out here. Its been like that for years for 40.
The nigga didn't say he was the King of the Bay...FREESTYLE KING. Yall aint listening. What other rapper in the industry does ALL FREESTYLE mixtapes, and gases on every track? Crooked I claimed his 52 Week song thing was freestyle, but I don't believe that shit for one min. FAB is unique in what he does because nobody else does it as good. That's why he calls himself the Freestyle King.

look, lock took a shot at fab, fab asked on here what the deal is. two good mc's jousting is not a bad thing.

i mean 1 post on the net got 8 pages of comments. (maybe this is a better move on the chess board then rushing out to do a "diss song".) so apparently they both have your attention. good bad or indifferent, they both have strong suit's in the game. both are good people. and you can bet this battle will stay on wax cause both respect the art form and the game of hip hop. sit back and enjoy it. what ever "it" may be.

this is why the bay started to blow in the first place, like 3-4 years ago. because everyone was hungry and doing there best, seeing other rappers as challengers... for the music, not on some beef shit.

then they release a cd and go back to square 0... a bunch of content rappers co-signing weak ass friends.

I must say BAY2MI is right...there were only a hand full of artists in the Bay getting any recognition before the KYLD and KMEL battles started jumping off in late 2002. Those battles brought a whole new generation of rappers to the forefront ie: FAB, Locksmith, Clyde Carson, Killa Keise, Balance and Left (although they didnt battle but were still strong supporters) Bay Area rap fans started paying attention to the music in their own region again. It was a great time for the Bay.

On the subject of FAB...Dude is hungry, period and he dont like to lose. Shit, I remember the first time we battled at Mission Rock for a KMEL event in 2003. We went about 4 rounds and in the end I was the crowd favorite and won that night. 3 days later I was judging a battle in Pacifica on my B-Day and at about 1:00am in walks FAB. Dude walked up on stage and challenged me on the spot. We went about 3 rounds, DJ Apollo was on the beats and it was pretty even for the first 2 rounds. In the 3rd round Fabby handed me a verbal ass whoopin and in a matter of 3 days FAB got his title back. We battled again the following month for a 94.9 event and I won that one and a few weeks after that FAB got the win against me at another KMEL event. Dude is hungry, always has some shit to say and regardless of whether or not his punchlines are Locksmith status dont matter/ He is coming off top everytime. When you are that good off top then u dont ever stumble. Writtens run out eventually. I would never go into a battle based on writtens unless those were the rules and unfortunately most rap battles have come to that now a days. I say we throw a battle 2 rounds: 1st round off the head no beat, 2nd round written with no beat and a tie breaker round off the head with a beat and people throwing words out for you to incorporate into your verse. This way you get your writtens and your off top.

FUCK DUTCH!! Look what I did to his career.. A.Wolf

^^^This is the kind of stuff that makes me laugh. How much input did Dre have on "Son of a Pimp." It ain't like the relationship was like 50 and Game, where 50 is featured on Game's first four singles. Dre is only on one song on that whole album. FAB is where he's at because of his grind, yea Mac Dre helped him out just like real niggas should, but FAB made his own name, and has really been the only nigga that's kept Thizz relevant since Dre's death.

I say we set up some rematch battles.. in 2009 it'll be 5 years since all them battles went down..we can even get clyde involved and maybe this time he'll be able to spit at least 3 bars before fumbling the mic all over the field..
