I can respect that from a fans perspective we want to hear the best battle possible, and that pre-written shit allows for that. But I hate when rappers write they shit in a FREESTYLE battle. Niggas trying to pass it off like it's freestyle. That's bitch shit. I respect FAB for freestyling at all times, good or bad.
Freestyle means you are FREE to STYLE however you want...I was reading Moses SoulRights post and it reminds people that battle like any other competition is about preparation and strategy. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Fab wrote some of his battles in a ''freestyle'' style. I would not care if he did, because I WANT as a fan to HEAR the BEST of an artist.
^^^Man "Freestyle" is conventionally recognized as GOING OFF THE HEAD. If it wasn't, we wouldn't even be having this argument. There would no need for rappers to PRETEND to freestyle if the definition is what you say it is. I feel u tho I wanna hear the best too....I just appreciate the skill of conventional freestyling more than using the pen.

They will let you know but I forgot you might not know them like you claim to know FABBY.
Last time I checked FABBY has been on BILLBOARD with every CD he has put out. NOT just the RAP & INDEPENDENT charts. That DEMOLITION MEN street album was on ITUNES TOP 20 for 2 weeks. I can't consider these aclomplishments to be failures like you do.

Why do you fell like Lock is being disrespectful? They battled and Fab didn't win. Fab put clyde and Kaz on blast in his KING dvd...was that being disrespectful or just a document of what happend? This shit is all entertainment and thanks to this thread, I have been entertained. Thanks Fabby, Legendary, Locksmith and the people who act like they REALLY know when somebody is coming off the top and when they are not. But I will say this if you Youtube the top battle rappers you will see tjat Serious Jones and them spit a routine...not off the top of the dome ryming rant. As a fan of the music I just want to see who has the most skills with the pen, off the dome, whatever. Battle is like MMA- you fight how you fight and you win hoe you win.
