As the only UF fan on here, I've stated in the past (including just yesterday) that Tebow won't be a starting QB in the NFL. He's one of those ''great'' college players that can't make the transition into the NFL. That's fine...he'll still beat the shit out of his competition in the college ranks. LOL

But I still LOL @ all the people on here who hate that Florida is successful, hate that Tebow is winning, hate that their team sucks...who say he'll be a ''bust'' in the NFL. Who's going to pick him in the first round? Second? He'll drop like a Troy Smith, and if you take this guy in the 4-5-6 round, is he a bust? He can come into a team with an established QB (Pittsburgh, possibly), and be a 2nd-3rd QB. Then is he a bust?

LOL @ trying to hate the dude.

Comparing Tebow to JJ is not a good idea..seein that JJ DID fail. For as good as he was, he is a 3rd teir player in the NBA.
It's the exact same thing. I was speaking on a college level. The pro game isn't relevant here. In college, JJ was as good of a player as any on the court. Was he the best defender? Nope. Best rebounder? Nope. Best passer? Nope. Could he take anyone off the dribble? Nope. But he could score 40 on any given night, against any given defender. TONS of people hated dude because he was so damn good, and killed opponents. He didn't do shit to anyone. Just like Tebow.

Florida will crush Oklahoma. When was the last time Oklahoma won against a SEC team in a major bowl?

Oklahoma's defense is a joke. Of course, they have lost two NFL prospects ove the course of the season, but they have allowed some points this, albiet to some high powered defenses.

USC should be the team to worry you the most, not Oklahoma. Its too bad they aint playin though.

USC doesn't worry me, and I'd take them as an 'easier' game than OU. Not that it would be a cakewalk, but while USC's defense is dominant, their offense would be pummeled by Florida, IMO.

Oh, well...we won't see it anyways.

I don't like these types of comparisons. Like when they say Team A hasn't beaten Team B since 1942. I seriously doubt these kids were playing, and have lost to a team that many times. LOL

Kind of like...Boise State beat Oklahoma a few years ago, so they'd beat them again. OU this year would crush BSU, and it would NOT be pretty.

While agree that USC's offense has looked stagnant at some points this season, they have the same type of offense that Florida has if you think about it. They have 4 RB's that can bust a game open, and 2 really good receivers that will be 1st/2nd rounders in the NFL. USC has a pro-style team, where as Florida has a strictly high-octane college team.

True, but Florida's defense isn't anything USC has come close to playing all year. Obviously, USC has a better defense than Florida (or probably anyone) has seen, but Florida has faced good defenses (like last week)...

< < < WANTS A PLAYOFF.

USC and UF have only played ONE good defense this year: OSU (USC) and Bama (UF). No one else was that great. Relatively speaking, you could say UGA (got 45 put on em by GT), SC (CLemson put 31 on em), FSU (BC BOMBED on em), OrSU (Oregon...LOL), and UCLA (their offense was so bad, it "outshined" their defense).

I am not sold on UF's defense, and we will see in Jan. They have not faced a high-powered offensive machine like Oklahoma, who set a rtecord for most points scored in a season, and scored 60+ points in 5 strat games, against teams they were supposedly considered to be "competition".

And i agree, we need a playoff.

That's why OU would worry me MORE than USC.
