Ive been thinking about getting a tattoo to remember my brother.
The only thing is, im not sure bout the pain, can anyone compare what it feels like? Also are there rubs so you cant feel it. Im not really nervous bout the pain just twitching or something and causing them to mess up. any help would be cool.

MAN THEY HURT LIKE A MOTHAFUCKA BUT SOME PLACES HURT MORE THEN OTHERS. ARMS AINT BAD AT ALL BUT STOMACHS AND CHESTS GOD DAMN!! THE THINGS THAT HURT THE MOST ARE THE OUTLINES!! STRAIGHT LINES ARE A KILLER!! BUT ONCE ITS ALL DONE YOU WONT EVEN REMEMBER THE PAIN AND HONESTLY YOU'LL PROBABLY WANT ANOTHER ONE!!

LOL...

Man, ok, I have 5 tats...one on my chest, one on my back, 1 on my left arm and 2 on my right. First of all, where do you want to get the tattoo?? From my experience, the upper arm hurts the least.

Whatever you do, DO NOT drink, smoke weed, or take any other kind of narcotics before you go get it..too many fucked up things CAN happen, and one is, the ink can run because narcotics thin out your blood...then you'd have to get it touched up right after it heals. Another thing is, EAT something before you go. I've seen the BIGGEST cats pass out while getting a tat because they had no food in their systems. Just an FYI, if you do it all like that, everything should be all good. Just remember to eat.

OH, and a quick reminder...tattoo's only hurt for the first 10 minutes or so, after that it pretty much goes numb. Like Goodfella said, it's more of an annoyance than a pain.

depends were you get it.i got a few that hurt like a bitch all the way thru.i got one on each arm crease and on my forearm.i'd compare those to being cut real slow by a razorblade thats snagging your skin.even the filling hurt.but the skin is thin there so its gonna hurt.the other one that hurt is up my neck.it kinda stings on the spine but once i got to my hair line then it hurt a little more.reason being is your skin gets thicker right there and the tattooist had to do it longer for the ink to take....

it all depends where you get it and how your body is.what hurts to one person may not hurt to another, vise versa....

and like Sydal said, you might wanna eat.i never did but everybodys body reacts different, and i heard storys bout cats passin out....
