Hating is when anybody besides the homies, wanna-bes, or dudes that claim the same gang of a shitty rapper, comment on said rapper's music.

Giving an opinion is when the homies, wanna-bes, and dudes that claim the same gang of a shitty rapper, comment on said rapper's music.

Hating is going out of the way to highlight the negative on somebody. Opinion is just saying what's on your mind. People know the difference when they are doing it. You know when you are hating and when you are just giving your honest opinion.

Being disrespectful or going out of one's way is completely subjective though.

Someone could simply be stating an opinion but the individual receiving that opinion may or may not take it as "disrespect" or see it as someone "going out of their way" to "hate".
