Has rap music lost substance and creativity

Just look at who WE the BAY AREA champion as our rap hero's. Now think about what they are talking about on the MAJORITY of their songs and the question is answered for our reigion. And don't point out to me the 2 out of 17 songs where a nigga talk about being poor in the hood and then coming up. Those are almost as manditory as having a couple of radio singles. I see no substance and it's making the music shitty. This is why everybody and they mamma rap's now...It doesn't take alot of skill to rap about a bunch of stupid, non thought out garbage. Producer's use to know about music- not anymore. Just find a funny sound, follow a hot drum patturn and presto...You have a slapper! It is going to get worse unless some of the top mc's, groups, ect. step up and stop this bullshit.
