i remember back in 06/07, he was everyone's favorite rapper. what happened?
over saturation? too many features? or was it the autotune that just ended it for him.

i mean, carter 3 was the highest selling album last year, but it seems like no one is feelin him anymore. no homo.

I thought I was the only dude who was thinking this.....2008 Wayne has been fuckin garbage compared to what he was spitting on the first 2 Carters and previous mixtapes. The nigga has officialy gone hollywood is whats the deal.....Dude dont even rap no more, mothafucka thinks he's a single, now is riding dick trying look and be like a rocker (The mothafucka is sposed to drop a FULL LENGTH ROCK ALBUM for fucks sake) mayne I dont know wtf has happened to him. I think the exposure he's been enjoying has fucked this dude in the head. Even some of his shit where he's rapping now sounds like its half assed, dude prolly about to lose some longtime fans because of what he's doing now

im askin because everyone i talk to now says "fuck lil wayne, he's a faggot" or something like that.

whereas about two years ago, i remember hella people tellin me how lil wayne is the best rapper alive or some shit like that. im talking about around when dedication 2 came out and everyone was looking for his mixtapes

when wayne first came out he was cool he had a rough persona,...now its like rocker looking gangster pierced lip and like he went from the block is hot to lollipop i mean now wayne over used the autotune imo and there are probably a bunch of other things that make him not so cool
