if so whats it like?
right now im in my 12 hour of juice fasting and so far so good, i will eat some soup tonight tho cus i dont really wanna feel withdraws..i read on a juice fasting site that the body starts using all the stored fat n gunk we have in the colon n stuff and starts eliminating it and you will have basic symptoms of starving, like head ache, stomach ache, dizzy, etc........so anyways, has anyone ever done water or juice fasting??

Yeah, I fasted for 30 days once during Ramadan. With that you can't eat or drink anything until the sun goes down..

It was difficult. My entire day became about the sun going down, but looking back, I'm glad I did it..

I used to fast all the time, for 2, 3, even 4 days at a time. Having nothing but water. I have to admit it wasn't because I wanted to, I just used to not need to if you know what I'm sayin. Sober though it sucks. I'm bout to get my tonsils out and I can't eat or drink (even water) for like 20 hours, the shit is going to suck.

Wierd, i heard when u dont eat your body thinks your starving so it will stop you from burning that fat to save it as long as it thinks it needs too... fuck all that. the best way to stay healthy is to stay active and reduce your portions..

yeah thats true when you dont eat your body hits survival mode and and stores away all fat so instead of BURNING fat you are actually GAINING fat so you should just excercise and eat healthy stuff

Yea, I had a fasting experience when I went to jail. The food was so shitty that it took my body damn near two months to adjust. I drank water and juice and only ate breakfast (served at 5:00 a.m.), which was a basic cereal or some fruit. I lost about 10 pounds, but I never got sick because I slept heavy and when I was up, I just did physical or mental activities to distract me from the lack of food. The best thing about this fasting experience was that I realized that the mind controls the body. Fasting is a good wake up call, if you find yourself at a period in your life where your body is controlling or leading your mind.

I've also fasted during ramadan for 30 days. You don't eat or drink anything, INCLUDING water, when the sun rises until the time that it goes down (approx12 hours per day for 30days). It's the hardest thing ever to do.

ya thats why your suppose to eat 6 light meals a day so you dont feel hungry and your body wont try and store fat untill your next meal
