Someone would give up a 4th round pick for him, seriously. Probably lower, but there's teams that would take him.

I've never been a fan of just cutting someone when you could get something for him. Stupid, IMO.

I thought Bettis was done in 2001-2002, but he rejuvinated himself. Same with Jamal Lewis.

Alexander might still have some gas in his tank, but he's gotta let go of his ego and take a pay cut.

The Offensive line is decent, and im sure after the draft it will be even better, we have Frank Gore, Michael Robinson, Deshaun Foster and Thomas Clayton on the roster. Im pretty sure Clayton will be a Practice Squad player again this year, why not let foster, and alexander battle out for the backup RB spot, Robinson is can continue to be a ST ace and become a better 3rd down/short yard back/fullback. At the least, itll create competition for him.

Shree... don't you think the Niners learned from the Darrell Jackson experiment? Why sign another player that the Seahwaks don't want? Alexander would do cool in Denver though.
