Nah i agree with you to a certain extent i think if your kid listens to guce and decides to go and do meth you officially fucked up as a parent. BUT still my point was that rappers CAN change the perception of certain things and they do have an influence thats just the way it is. Alot of youngsters out there are easily influenced and untill parents step up and do their damn job these rappers could be a lil more conscious of what their promoting.
I dont blame rappers cuz there is ALOT more to it. all im saying is keep that shit in the back of your mind you dont have to go gospel or nothing.

Its up to the parents to raise the kid not the industry. True enough, you cant be with your kid 24/7, but you have to have confidence in the fact that you raised them right. If you raised your child to think for themselves and to be leaders and not followers then you have to trust that they wont let someone convince them to do dumb things. PERIOD

Naw, I feel you. I'm not gettin' on Guce's ass, cause rappers do say some far out shit sometimes. A lot of shit, I used to support...but as I got older, I started thinking a lot more...and I don't agree with the same shit I once did. I just WISH that, not just Guce, but ALL rappers, could use their heads for a better purpose. Everybody knows that, those of us who rap, reach people with one thing or another. When we say something, some people do follow suit...some people don't. Right now rap is in a transitional phase, and a lot of cats are trying to make a difference...it's just sad to see some folks go in the completely opposite direction.
Either way, I encourage him to do him, and hope kids don't start thinkin' that shit's cool...I encourage everybody to use some common sense now...
