if he really smoked meth he wouldn't be able to be releasing songs about it. drugs songs sell, theres no meth songs out i can think of off the top of my head, theres millions of meth heads so a meth song will probably sell well. thats his thinking on that right there. and like somebody else said, anybody not old enough to know better has some faulty parents/siblings if they playin any guce songs for them..

Actually, I am gettin it homie. I never said youngsters werent influenced by the music they listen to, but if thats your argument, then you would have a problem with every rapper out that talks about sniffin a line, poppin a pill, eating shrooms, acid, etc.
Basically, not only would you have a problem with 99% of all rappers, but you would also have an issue with rock stars, jazz musicians, and pretty much any musicians in general. because everybody duz drugs and lots of them talk about it like it's nothing.

i agree, most bay rap is about violence and drugs. there are many rappers say something negative and mention it in their raps, but what i'm trying to say is to start taking alittle more responsibility with the lyrics. dre dog rap about doing that coca and kids are in some way influenced.
rap about what you do, but maybe at the end say "kids dont do drugs". basically for rappers to show that they are not trying to promote violence and drugs. and i understand that rappers do not promote violence but it indirectly affects their listeners.

That argument about don't listen to it if you don't like is not valid. If a rapper comes out next and start rapping about molesting kids like it's cool, would yall say the same thing? So parents are supposed to be the fucking FBI and follow they kids around all day making sure there's no possible way they can listen to anything negative when 90% of the rap that comes out these days is, but rappers ain't responsible for what they say in their songs? Putting it all on the parents is a bullshit cop out. Of course it's the parent's job to raise their kids right, but doing it in a fucked-up ass environment where everything wrong, everything you don't want your kids to end up doing is what's valued and advertised 24/7 makes it a hell of a lot harder. And I know shit was fucked BEFORE rap, I know rap didn't create these social conditions, but guess what? It contributes to them. Things are getting worse.

alot of ur favorite bay area rappers....especially some of the ones that get hella jocked on these boards- some of them even though of as legends, are off that meth. One common thing with dopefiends is to smoke off other cats names....for example....so and so is my boy....or i produced this for so and so......or I used to hang with so and so.....ask about them. They out there and you can find them at the dope spot all spun out selling cds for quaters....yeah 25cents. I don't want to expose cats cause that is not my job to do so, but I've seen it with my own eyes.
