dude, Gucci Mane is tite. I know all the stupid shit you hear on the radio may not be the best but that fools album hard 2 kill slaps all the way through.
Hes just on that hood shit. And hes a savage. His beats are hella tite and he just has that catchy flow. Lyricist not really, but he's dope.
I think Soulja Boy is just funny now, like as much as that fool has been hated on for rap he still can get out there and be himself. I mean, yeah hes made trash, but some of his songs are entertaining lol.
Just because there in the rap game dont mean you gotta listen to him, i mean i really dont even listen to anymore Real hip hop, maybe because there isnt any but the days of Wu tang, Mobb Deep, Mos Def, Nas, are gone, and we gotta deal with it. The world just isnt that raw anymore. I mean b4, a person would have to really put an effort to make an album, not even just content, but logistically. You really had make good beats with limited technology, find a studio to record in, and people made the music cuz they loved it and the money had nothing to do with it. Thats why there music will be timeless. We will forget about these songs in about 3 months and thats what seperates classics from just regular songs.
I dunno, the only person really doin there thing is Kanye.
That 808 and Heartbreak album is HELLA slept on. At first i was like WTF?!?!? This aint hip hop?! WTF!??! But when you sit back and really listen 2 the lyrics and uve gone through the same type of shit that shit is hella good.
