I haven't ever used rubber bands to pull my hair back, cause when I have them in for braids, they pull the fuck out of my hair. I just use all black ties, they don't pull my hair usually, unless I don't comb it...lol...which is the other hassle with long hair.....

My girl did my shit last week! lol....Read the instructions....and it may have come with some spray to protect your hair from the heat...watch out too, you might burn yourself on accident....and make sure you comb you hair out thoroughly otherwise it'll tangle and probably end up burning/frying...

I'd recommend doing it while your hair is dry...you might want to go to a salon and ask them if they have any products that would help out...this hoe I use to fuck with told me about all sorts of shit cause her parents own a salon....there's a lot of places with heat protectant stuff...maybe even a grocery store or drug store.....and make sure you do it in sections, not just a big bunch of hair....

You may want to get a female who's done it before to show you, or do it for your first time....I won't do that shit to my own hair though, just a personal precaution though...lol...

blow dry your hair then flat iron it.

put some heat styler or protector..or some anti frizz. be careful you dont burn ur ears, scalp, or neck. do your hair in sections.

NOOOOOOOOOOO. DON'T DO IT! There's a reason why these chicks runnin round wit extensions in their hair. Stick to da braids. Trust me on this...I'm speaking from experience.
