yup but maybe they could meet in the middle. if they were in the same wieght class, wanderlei would demolish hughes. it would be disgusting. i hope george st pierre beats the fuck outta hughes. but wanderlei would shmerk hughes quickly and painfully.
The middle would be 185 and any top 3 fighter in the UFC or Pride would kill Hughes at 185.

Oh well, I have had my "hate Hughes" fix for the week.
I just hope GSP gets his shot in September.

the gracie fight was almost sad to watch
but that was a badass ufc. that flying knee was my fav ko.. shit was raw
Yeah it was very sad for me.
I actually expected Gracie to win as old as he is.
But Matt is a freak of nature, he's just way too fucking strong.
What's ironic though is that Gracie gave Matt's ground game no respect.
I don't know if you cat's realize just how bad Gracie fucked up in that fight.
He tried getting up when he had complete guard control.
In BJJ, you're supposed to work from the guard. But not Gracie, not this time.
He left himself in a very vulnerable position by forcing himself up.
That was a huge Brazilian Jui Jitsu fundamental mistake.
You can't just do that. Especially in against a season vet like Hughes.

And what's all this talk of watching Hughes fight Silva?
Hughes still needs to avenge the ass whoopin he took against Brazilian Jui Jitsu gold medalist BJ Penn....

GSP beat BJ so he deserves the shot. But you would think Hughes would want to fight BJ again wouldnt you ? Or maybe Dennis Hallman. I would like to see those fight with or without the belt. Hallman beat Hughes twice soundly, but Hughes is a much better fighter now.
