Time to post pics of your computer! :nerd:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, 2x74GB 10,000rpm Raptors in Raid 0 (+ 1 extra not hooked up in floppy bay) & suspended in the cd bay w/ elastic cord, 2x1gd DDR2-6400 ram, Asus P5WDH passive mobo, XFX 7600GS passive gfx card, LG & Benq dvd-rw's, Liberty Enermax modular psu, scythe ninja heatsink w/120mm (cd size) nexus fan + 2 other aluminum case fans, 3m filtrete air cleaner filter which keeps damn near all the dust out of my comp, all in a Lian-Li case. I haven't opened it in months, and as you can see, there is very little dust.
Why the hard drives in the cd bay? Well, the Raptors spin at a faster rate and cause more vibration which transfers to the case and creates noise. Suspending them with the elastic cord absorbs the vibration and makes a HUGE difference in noise.
