had my interview yesterday and that was pretty fuckin shitty. I show up lookin dressed up and shit n there's like 40 other people waiting to go into the interview n 80% of those people are in jeans and a polo shirt. Fuckin sat through an hour and a half of rambling bullshit to find out that they hadnt even figured out how many open positions they had for summer jobs even. I had to apply for a summer job even though i was gonna keep working with them but i was gonna transfer. So they tell me ill be getting a call or email by the end of the week. Don't even know if i wanna work there cuz 2 hours before the interview i got an email for a job offering for a construction company so im prolly gonna take that up

Ok, my friend on here just showed me this thread because I have an interview tomorrow at Finish Line..I got a couple questions..

I can't find my dress shoes..I have been looking everywhere and can't seem to find them..Would a pair of black new balances be ok?

Here's my pair of NB's I have that I would wear:

Also, I am going to wear just some black Dickies..They seem to fit ok and should be fine..I am also wearing a grey polo..What do you guys think? Would it be fine?

I was hired for Macys way back but I turned down the job because they wanted me to work at Del Monte shopping center which was too far. Anyway if you're working retail wear some nice pants ironed good, and a dress shirt (tucked in of course), belt and dress shoes. Don't go in smelling like 20 pumps of cool water either. You can wear a suit, but that's over kill. If you have to wear a suit to an interview for a retail job to impress people, you must be fucking boring or can't wow someone with conversation.
