If the classic anime Golgo 13 were made into a movie who would ya'll want to direct ?

Everytime I see clips I see either John Woo or Luc Besson doin the live version.....

I loved the anime and think it would be clean but the only person I could see playing Golgo is Matt Damon for some reason lol..

As far as a director goes Im not sure. You really need some bullet time shots and some blood splatter on screen. How about Tom Hanks lol...didnt he do Band or Brothers or something?
