we really shoulda brought in brian shaw to coach tho. now the chance is gonna be gone since hes gonna take over the lakers.

keith smart was an upgrade over nelson but not enough.

neither of them are true points.

but i'd rather have monta, hes more of a playmaker and much much stronger defensively. monta creates matchup problems for the other team on both sides of the ball - especially if he was running the point.

thats if we are choosing 1 and moving the other.

Memphis coach Lionel Hollins said he received the Wolves' promotional package that was sent out to Western Conference coaches to generate support for Kevin Love as a reserve for the Feb. 20 All-Star Game. Hollins, however, passed the package on to his nephew and did not look at the DVD containing the celebrated 30-second "NUMB#RS" promo that spoofed cologne commercials. "I already knew about Kevin Love and what he's done this season before I got that," Hollins said. "His numbers speak for itself." Hollins declined to say if he voted for Love as one of the West's reserve forwards. He admitted sampling the wine that came in a promo package from the Golden State Warriors, who are pushing guard Monta Ellis for a reserve spot. St. Paul Pioneer Press

I'm cool off josh smith...he has all the talent to be one of the best in the game but he's lazy...he plays when he wants 2...to inconsistent

i'd def take him if its a good trade for us.

hes only 25 years old.

hes shooting 3 pointers at a career best this year at 37%, hes also shooting a career best at the foul line.

we dont need him to be a 1st or 2nd option scoring or handling the ball as much as he does in atlanta.

good defender, good rebounder and a great shot blocker.

he can play either forward position.

im confident this team's new owners will get something done.. in two years we'll be solid.. just need a really good coach, Keith Smart i was wrong about, hes only a good assistant coach but an upgrade from nelly

Monta gets no respect forreal.. its not like dudes out there playing dirty or talking shit about others... did he not put consistant 30 pts per game or more for about a month straight?
