if b wright could stay healthy, he could be as good as lamarcus aldridge fairly quickly. he has great touch around the rim, a solid post game (probably the best on our team for big men), and he has good defense too. add a reliable jumper, and his length and he has the potential to be a quality power forward.

thats only if he could stay healthy tho obviously. he left too early at UNC and didnt have NBA strength yet, its been a setback on his career but hes still real young.

udoh does look real solid for a rookie. he has a very high IQ especially on de, he had 3 blocks in only 16 minutes last game. he also has great size for a rookie. 245 with good length, he could gain 10-20 pounds of muscle this year and in the offseason and be a force next year.

Agree!

Wasn't really thrilled about the Udoh pick, initially...but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. Congrats to Monta too.
nobody was. he wasnt a "sexy" pick like cousins would have been.

but for a weak draft, i like how Udoh has turned out despite his injury. and he's only just begun - still might not even be 100% yet.

Warriors rookie Ekpe Udoh didn't make his NBA debut until Dec. 10 due to a broken wrist that saw him miss the first five and a half weeks of the season.

But it's sounding like Udoh may be finding solid rotation minutes once his conditioning improves.

"(Warriors coach) Keith Smart said Udoh is moving up the rotation fast," tweeted Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group. "Sounds like conditioning is the only obstacle."

If Udoh solidifies 20-plus minutes a night going forward, guys like Louis Amundson and Vladimir Radmanovic could see a decline in their reserve frontcourt roles.

THEN U GOT THIS MORON FROM ESPN THAT ONLY SAW HIM IN 1 GM.

ESPN's John Hollinger
Need to see more of Udoh

"I want to see more and will when Golden State comes to Atlanta [this] week. For what it's worth I watched the Sacramento game and found him unrelentingly awful, highlighted by the play where Reggie Williams nearly hit him in the head with a pass. But he did have a nice block in there (on Evans I believe), so I suppose there's some hope."

Blazer fans were probably feeling the same way when they drafted Brandon Roy.... not saying Udoh will turn into the big man version of Roy, but i guess if you're not Lebron or Kobe, staying in school pays off.

Ellis has now scored 38 points or more six times this season, as many as he did last season. No other player has done it more than twice this year.
