^^^yeah they did sign him. there might be a press conference today.

The Warriors have signed Jeff Adrien to a partially-guaranteed deal for training camp.
Adrien played in Spain after being undrafted in 2009, but he's willing to play in the D-League this season rather than going overseas.

Warriors GM Larry Riley believes Monta Ellis will be back in the Bay Area "in the next week or so."
Ellis has kept a very low profile this summer, but has conveyed to Riley that he's "ready to get started." Head coach Don Nelson is also expected back this week, but "it doesn’t appear the Warriors are close to making a decision on his future."

The Warriors are unlikely to sign backup guard Jannero Pargo this summer.
Pargo underwent knee surgery this offseason, and Golden State seems more inclined to sign another big man to fill out their frontcourt. He had a rough season with the Bulls in 2009-10 but hopefully he'll be healthy and employed before long.

With training camp just three weeks away, Warriors general manager Larry Riley still has some work to do. He’s got an open spot or two on the roster to fill, and he’s still got to hire a couple of assistant coaches. “I think in another week we’ll have some ideas on those things,” Riley said on Tuesday. “I’ve got some ideas and I know Nellie (Warriors coach Don Nelson) has some ideas. But we haven’t moved on anything.” According to a source, the Warriors still believe they’ve got a shot at signing free agent center Louis Amundson, who was an effective energy player off the bench last season for the Suns.

The source said he thinks the Warriors and New Orleans Hornets, among maybe another team or two, are in the mix for Amundson, and the hope is a decision will be made this week. The Warriors have $2.4 million remaining of their mid-level exception, so they could start Amundson’s salary at that number or $2.1 million – the bi-annual exception. CSNBayArea.com

Power forward Louis Amundson, arguably the NBA's top remaining unsigned free agent with just two weeks left before training camps open, has agreed to a new deal with the Golden State Warriors, according to his representative.

The deal is a two-year contract worth nearly $5 million, according to sources close to the situation. Amundson, who has traveled to Oakland to sign the deal later Monday, will receive a player option for the second season. The Hornets had been pursuing Amundson hard to join the recently acquired Trevor Ariza as a key newcomer, with new general manager Dell Demps flying to Los Angeles in August to lobby the former Phoenix banger face-to-face and present him with a Hornets jersey. But with the Hornets still possessing roster spots left to fill with only 11 players under contract and thanks to a $1.25 million performance bonus Hornets center Emeka Okafor is expected to trigger in his contract by season's end, New Orleans couldn't start Amundson's contract at higher than roughly $1.9 million without straying into luxury-tax territory. Amundson is a GREAT signin for y'all. He should do well in that system.

He's the type of player that every team wants. Does the dirty work.

So I don't follow the warriors much but they prolly my 2nd fav team if I had one, and I was gon ask... What's the starting 5 gonna be this year?

Curry/Ellis/buike???/David lee?/ who's gon be the 5? Or is Lee gon play the 5 again this year and start a diff pf? Once that ekpo udoh or whatever the fuck his name is, he gon start once he gets healthy?

Wright or Williams will be the starters, Carney is a bench player with potential to unbust.

unless we make a trade for some1 else, our roster has a lot of potential trade value.

i dunno how many roster spots we have left, but if we dont have much money i hope we bring Chris Hunter back. (assuming he is still unsigned) - i only follow the Warriors off-season for the most part.

I got a lot of folks in the bay. I wanna go downn there on Xmax. It'd be helllaaa
