How do homies feel about voting? Why should we vote/ Why should'nt we vote?


I perfer not to waste my time to go to the voting polls and cast a vote. The voting process is just a way for the government to give us the power we ask for. What I am trying to say with my previous statment is that we have no power as the people the House of Representatives can over throw or vote by vito. So voting gives us the false impression of power. I believe that the election is won before any of the voting takes place the House of Representatives has the President/Govener picked before we as the people even hit the polls.

IN DECEMEBER OF 2002 THE 9TH CIRCUIT OF APPEALS COURT IN SAN FRANCISCO JUDGED THAT THE CONSTITUTION WAS MISINTERPRETED AND THAT WE AS NORMAL EVERYDAY CITIZENS DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS AS STATED IN THE 2ND AMMENDMENT.....THE CASE IS NOW IN LINE AT THE SUPREME COURT LEVEL AND IF JUDGED THE SAME THEN NO ONE BUT POLICE N MILITARY WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE A GUN....ALONG WIT THE ANTI TERRORISM LAWS LIKE THE PATRIOT ACT....STRICT ENFORCEMNET WILL NE APPLIED ON ANY NON MILITARY OR POLICE OWNIN OR POSSESSING A FIRE ARM....

What I trip out on is that California's majority is anti-Bush. You ask someone you work or just anyone off the streets how they feel about Bush/Iraq and 98% of them will say the pre-emptive was is wrong and we shoulda stayed out of Iraq. The headlines are out there people. They show more and more US soldiers getting killed. So how do these so called polls show that Bush is favored among the American people?
I'm sure those polls are fake and twisted with the intent of having clueless people rely on polls so they can vote for Bush. That's how dumb most Americans are.

I am very glad to hear the homies with educated replys and evidence to back up there statments. I still dont see no reason to vote,and that is the reply I am waiting for a vaild reason that is meaningful.
