Now I know I'm not the best graphic designer in the world but I recently got photoshop on my computer. for the past months I've been working on graphic designs and I made a whole bunch of pictures as I advanced and got better at it I came up with these graphics. now I'm still learning but let me know what you guys think of these graphics. All feedback is much appreciated. thank you.

seriously, this is for all up-and-coming *enter_your_word_for_designer_here_but_dont_use_the_word_designer_cause_you_are_not* people. You see a lot of art on here that is dope, do you really look at your stuff and be like "hey this is dope as hell" and show it to people? Do you really would go to a store and buy a CD with a cover like that? Everybody got photoshop these days damn.

Yea, I would try to stay away from filters as much as possible. To me, thats what makes covers and other graphics look "cheesy" unless you know how to use them so it looks like you don't use them lol. I would also try to stay away from making people purple. It makes them look sick. lol.keep at it though bro. Practice makes perfect. read some books on composition, typography, hierarchy and you'll start to see some changes and understanding design.

And yeah...your shit is wack. And that's honest...keep working on it and improving, and don't cry about someone critiquing your work. Take something away from it and get better...I don't know how to do that shit, but it doesn't stop me from saying it's wack.

You got the cerebral palsy look down pat, though. Great job.

MCKadafi has a valid point though. The thing is, there are people who have put years into their skill and actually make a living off being a designer. It's an insult when a kid downloads photoshop and digitally finger paints and calls himself a graphic designer. That's like downloading fruityloops and calling yourself a producer but I'm sure you probably do that too. Not trying to be a dick but there are serious people about there shit here and I can't blame people from being offended.

@ reckless - With that said these got a long way to go, keep making new shit and posting to get pointers. You'll learn alot by watching and listening to people pick apart your work. It's going to happen you know?

Gonza, your shit straight sucks ass though kid. I'd retire if I were you. NOW CHECK THAT OUT.

MCKadafi.....the man actually works internationally with show business stars. I'd probably listen to what this guy has to say, obviously he's doing something right.
