the fact is whether he puts up 20 and 10 every night or not, he's still someone defenses have to respect which takes pressure off other players (kobe specifically). not only that, his passing abilities get other people open shots.

he's doing what everyone expects him to do so i dunno what ur talking about. he's far from overrated if anything he's underrated and now getting publicity cause it was a huge trade but that'll die down eventually. and even if he is "soft" it really doesnt make a difference in this day and age cause the whole fucking sport is pretty much soft and they wont let players be tough anymore so that might be a good thing if u think about it. since 02 he's proved himself and never died down just never has talent around him that much and when that happens then u wont get noticed as much (Dwayne Wade this year). i nkwo ur a stats man so check his stats and then try to find some replays of him playing and then tell me if u still think all these things? lol

Exactly. How can you be OVERRATED when no one talks about you? XXtramannish acts as if everyone thought this guy was gonna be the next Hakeem and isnt livin up to his potential. Gasol has done nothing but be a 20/10 guy EVERY year he has been in the league...flying UNDER the radar might I add.

Can you please explain how he is overrated, please? That makes no sense.

^^^lol. we wont be able to move on from gasol though cause he's ripping shit up in the league right now. i'm praying that it's the Green vs Gold once again for the title, that would be sweeter to me than any other rival out there right now
