The Warriors got 3 extensions to make next off season: Baron, Monta and Biedrins. BD is making 17 mil next season, and will demand an extension.

But that is a scary and feasible thought with Memphis going after Monta. I'm not sure if they'd want to spend that money to go after a tweener guard when they already have Mike Conley, Kyle Lowry and just acquired Crittenton. They need to go after a big man.

Man this really sucks, Lakers gonna have a twin tower combo and Kobe now. The west is too sicc, they should only allow Detroit and Boston into the playoffs and those other spots to WC teams lol.

I had a feeling the Lakers were dangerous this year and this just confirms that....I think that Gasol will be a great player for the Lakers because there is no pressure to be #1....he's shown that he can be a feature player as well....not too sure about Crittendon, haven't seen him play very much....but u never know, some1 goin the other way to Memphis could end up becoming better then Gasol....from this point on

I remember in the late 90's when my Bulls had a shit load of money to spend, there was Grant Hill, Tracy McGrady, Tim Duncan available. I knew TD wouldn't leave, but no one wanted to go to Chicago because they were sorry, we ended up over paying for Ron Mercer and he bombed. Same for Memphis, it will be hard to convince top FA's to go to a rebuilding team, when there will be other oportunities to get that money elsewhere.

I hate to break it to you, but Gasol is not going to come in and give the Lakers a title. Hes gonna come in and be good for about 10 points and 4 rebounds. Definitely an upgrade over Brown, but he does not make the Lakers all that much better.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!

4 rebounds? and 10 pts? do u know who gasol is or do u know how he plays? that one piece can take them to the finals easily. i mean they already were contenders without him and when bynum gets back there gonne be something fierce. i cant beleive what u said on that one lol.

Do you think he's gonna bring his full 18 and 8 with him? I seriously doubt it. He's not going to be the focal point of the offense any more and bynum is still going to get his numbers which are going to cut into Gasol's numbers. Personally I think Gasol is way overrated, and the Lakers will only be marginally better with him.

i think kobe will get less pts because he has bynum and gasol to work with. they all will prolly average 18 pts if u ask me. i think gasol will be HUGE and like i said without him they were making noise and became #1 at one point and with him they will be the best coming out of the west.

I respect your opinion, but your out of you GODDAMNED mind, bro.

For one, you already stated you didnt like Gasol, so everything NEGATIVE you say about him, is becuase of your biased.

Bynum is NOT as good as Gasol, straight up. Gasol is better in every facet of the game, INCLUDING experience.

LOL @ 10 pts and 4 boards...you hella stupid for that comment.

He's not going to be the focal point of the Lakers' offense like he was in Mem, but he doesn't have to anymore.

He's most likely not gonna get his 18 and 8 every night, but he doesn't have to anymore.

When Bynum steps on the floor again, our front 3 will be 7 ft, 7ft, and 6-11. And, all those dudes can ball.

We will be more than a little better. The change might not be immediate, but it will happen. I will never guarantee a title, especially with a team like Boston out there, but we going to the 'ship!

I see this as a garnett type of thing, even tho his #'s and shit may come down or whatever his overall presence and experience is definitely gonna make them a serious contender

Youre right, I do not like Gasol at all, but its 90% because he plays soft and 10% because he's just wierd looking. lol Youre right about Bynum not being better than Gasol but this isn't Gasol vs Bynum we're discussing. my main point is that when Bynum comes back, he's going to be the big body in the paint getting the rebounds, not Gasol. I also foresee a highly diminished offensive role as well. Gasol strikes me as one of those guys who puts up good numbers as a 1st option on bad teams (Zach Randolph for instance) and has skewed stats as a result. I don't mean literally that he'll get exactly 10 and 4 but I do expect a significant dropoff in terms of his production and I really just don't think he'll have as big of an impact as everyone else does. I'll eat my words if I'm wrong, but until I'm proven wrong, my stance is not going to change.
