Folx everywhere were dissin on this when it first dropped and I wasn't really feeling it either, but the shit has really grown on me (especially the production) and it would be labeled a "classic" if 50's mug and songs weren't everywhere. I think people just got tired of the oversaturation and were ready to pounce on it.

If a local group came out with this, a lotta fools on here would be like, "Mang, that whole CD is knockin', straight hittaz, (insert Bay artist here) came way too sick this time, the Bay is gonna blow the fuck up this time, fa sho."
