I haven't heard anything in 2004 and 2005 that can be classified as g-funk; sorry to say it but it is really dead;

Someone recommended to me some new shit by Jayo Felony and this newcomer Bishop Lamont. Jayo has always been awful and Bishop Lamont sounds like a Jay-Z wannabe.

Try the true blue gangsters compilation, with payaso and others. Track 12 blew my fucking mind. Serious though, you just gotta check the so.cal chicano rappers albums.

^^^Im talkin like really simplistic, uhh.....somethin like, "im a gangster in these muthafuckin streets, i put it down over some gangster beats, fuck around with me and u might catch lead, another punk mutherfucker dead" thats not an actual line i just wrote that off the top, but thats pretty much what your in store for. But theres alot of others, a massive group of other chicano rappers who i found good, such as mr lil one and mr shadow, but youll have to get their older albums from like 99-2002 for that good shit.

I got that G Fellaz album from 1995 or so, it was pretty good. Chicano rap was weird at first, since we listen to a lot of reggaeton in Chile.
