TRAFFORD, Ala. A brother and sister have been arrested on felony incest charges. The man's wife called sheriff's deputies, who allegedly caught the siblings having sex.
Authorities say 44-year-old Ronald Stewart Howze, of Trafford, and 41-year-old Lori Ann Rotton, of Smyrna, Georgia, were arrested on April 7th. They remain in jail, with bond set at 50-thousand dollars each.
If convicted, each could each be sentenced to ten years in prison.
Authorities say Howze's wife believed her husband and his sister were having sex so she called deputies. The wife let the officer into their trailer home, and the deputy saw the siblings having sex in a bedroom.
Officials say both siblings had been drinking -- and Rotton was initially taken to a hospital because she appeared so intoxicated.
She is set to make her first court apperance tomorrow (Thursday).
Howze says he suffers from seizures. His lawyer says Howze does not remember what happened.
