Do Itunes sales count as soundscan????


Used copies do not count as soundscanned units, only new cd's. And iTunes, Music Here, Music Now, and all the rest of the legit music download sites DO count as soundscanned units if you download the "ENTIRE" cd. If you only download a single song or only a few songs it doesn't count.
Those single downloads are tracked and the artists are paid for them.

Those who log onto to websites & seek for Soundscan numbers are equivalent to wearing Cross Color jeans quoting phrases like "word to mother" and "my posse". As a consumer to the culture, you shouldn't want Soundscan reports from people who don't know nothing about Soundscan themselves. Email your favorite website and ask them what was Young Buck DMA sales in Chattanooga, or Rich Boy DMA sales in Portland, OR. We living blind!!!

What kind of non sense BS analogy is this? Because somebody wants to know how many albums were sold, it's the same thing as wearing cross colors or using old slang? Nonsense.
