ego trip no longer has a magazine to promote the search for the white rappers, and I don't know of anyone who knew they were out looking for them. ego trip chose serch because of him being a pioneer in hip hop and was taking a stand against the commercial bullshit that was being played on the air. they chose the best with what they had to work with....and from what they showed it wasn't much. yeah, some of them are gimmick rappers, but what do you expect? ITS REALITY TV. they need gimmicky personalities to hook the audience.


and anything that has prince paul involved gets a thumbs up

ego trip was an old hip hop magazine that was tight as fuck....they put out some books too....the people behind ego trip mag are the people putting out the show, thats why it's called "Ego Trip's The (White) Rapper Show"

I'm sure it doesn't do much for people's perception of white rappers...but...

We all know that there are white emcee's that can do more than hold their own on the mic...

i hate reality shows, especially this one, all them shows are hella fuckin gimmicky and phony as hell. I don't understand the fascination with them. If i wanted to see real people do funny shit i'll just go to my friends house and smoke trees

I never understood why people complained about people being wack at the same thing you do.
