Over where? 9/11 happened in what? 2001? Saddam's government was toppled in 2003? And Bin Laden....damn, I haven't even really heard his name mentioned in the media for at least 5 years. Anything that happens to our troops in the Middle East right now has to do as much with Kim Jong Il as it does with Bin Laden.

You must not watch/read much in the way of political news. Bin Laden has been talked about consistently over the past years. Maybe its hard to remember since nothing of extreme consequence happened.
