you got to put in consideration that most things dont expire after the expiration date... its usually their for stores, cuzz they cant sell food past its expiration date... 10/6 is kind of old, as long as the meat didnt change colors and tasted iight, you might be in the clear.

Don't worry. I ate a bunch of blackeyed peas last year then after I ate them realized they expired in 1993. Its cool I didn't get sick but I don't trust taking canned food from my grandma anymore without checking the date.

In all actuality, with the fat and preservatives that are in Chorizo, you're better off eating it hella old than a lean meat like steak.

Drink a lot of water and stay hydrated. You'll do yourself a lot of good by staying hydrated in case you do start vomiting.
