like I told u dogg, just plead No Contest. I was fuuuuucked up off pills, weed, helllllllla drank smashing 60 in a 40. I took a PD and was advised to plead no contest and got ALL my fines dropped. All I had to pay was 300 to get registered for diversion. Diversion really depends on you as far as how long your in there. Trust me I've been to 2 dif places. 1 of which I pissed dirty and admited to using drugs. And one where I took my boys clean piss and denied that I did anything. The place where I pissed dirty wanted me to go thru "Treatment" for 7 fucking months. The place I'm going now where I took clean piss says I'll be out of there in 2 months as long as I go to 1 2hour class a week for 8 weeks and piss clean. Whatever u do either stop smoking or lie and tell them u quit and fake the piss test. Cuz the more shit u drink, smoke or pop that shows on re piss test the longer you'll be going. Oh and make sure u lie to em and tell then u are unemployed and u need a fee reduction and you'll pay close to nothing if your lucky. I made up hella bullshit to get fees reduced... Trust me dog I just figgured out how to cheat the DUI shit and get off easy. Good luck bro.

It basically goes something like this in terms of severity
1 - DUI
2 - Reckless
3 - Negligent
4 - Negligent 2
5 - Traffic Infraction (speeding/failing to stop etc)
So Neg 2 is one step up from a traffic infraction. I don't know if they have those in your state though, I was just giving an example of what a good lawyer can do.
Real talk though, more power to you Gas. You really don't ever trip off of it until you get popped for it. I know I didn't at least. I was Superman as far as I was concerned, there wasn't hardly any condition that I didn't feel like I would be good behind the wheel in.
I guess in a way I'm thankful that it ended up this way on not with me hurting anybody or myself. But the whole process is still wack.

man ive been telling myself that same thing, like sooner or later i'm gonna get popped. and sooner or later i'm gonna catch a DUI and the quality of my life is going to spiral down, everything i worked real hard for might dissapear. i've ran through sobriety checkpoints drunk and got through, drove in front of a cop car after 14 beers and a few shots of whiskey and just contemplated running into the cop for fun like GTA san andreas, got stopped for speeding when i was blacked out and argued with the cop hella and still didnt get popped for a DUI, woke up in the morning with a hubcap gone...lol...every time man, i say to myself...im getting closer and closer to a DUI. its inevitable.
all the times ive gotten a ticket i said the same thing..it could be worse...but im starting to wise up before i even get the DUI...because i know it has to happen.
i have to go get more alcohol when im faded...its a reflex..and if i dont i'll go to get food or more weed....so i put myself in risk every time i drink unfortunately..at this point im just realizing that im gonna have to curb my drinking, or there will be literally nothing i can do to stop the possibility of a dui besides cover my breath up, take a shower and put on my best driving cap...
some of the last road trips ive pulled, i just go down the 5 chugging beer going 110 and make it home from the bay in 6 hours......it just......FEELS WRONG...like even if im able to drive like that, something tells me im putting myself in alot of danger whizzing by mack trucks...
