Has anyone heard of anyone beating a DUI case completely ? Due to a technicality or anything...?

It was a rookie cop and I'm sure he had to make a few rookie mistakes along the way...

If you were asking me, naw...he said it would be a few weeks before the blood was tested or whatever.

Fuck, this shit is gonna be a bitch.
i would wait for those results then..how much time lapsed between the breathylyzer and blood draw?? if it was more than an hour or so, ur BAC probably dropped some..im not saying it would be lower than 0.08, but who knows

Fuckin Shea...lol.

@Nick...you know thats the thing. Aight...so you know how near In & Out in DC theres an Arco station. Well, I was driving towards In & Out, (Arco was on my right..) and theres 3 lanes.

You can go right, to head towards the freeway and DC Tattoos...etc.

You can go straight to go towards In & OUt and the DCPD

Or you can go left to head towards Westlake..

So I'm in the right lane about to make a right...then my boy tells me his car is somewhere else, so I get into the middle lane (not having enough room to get all the way into the left) and the left turn arrow was red. So I posted. Well, I was in that middle lane, and then the light turns green to go straight. I stall for literally 3 or 4 seconds and just decide to go straight instead. The cop was right behind me and pulled me over.

He says it was because my left blinker was on and I went straight. But really my left blinker was on because I switched lanes into the middle, from the right.

Which is why I'm seriously considering getting a good lawyer to try and fight this one, even though I was legally over the limit.

I thought that if you got the wet wreckless you didn't have to file the SR22...? Shit. All bad.
i think thats true i dont know i got a DUI so i can't say. i talked to a lawyer about it he was saying something about reducing it to a wet reckless but i never hired him. i was 17 at the time so i pretty much got off with a 1 yr suspension no fines no court lol i got hella lucky the cop was coo and i didnt feed him bullshit so i think that factors in a lot. i threw up all over at the police station though i was gone officially i only blew a .09 but that was after i threw up

^ I hear ya man...but I honestly don't feel like I was pulled over for a legit reason. I'm not a legal expert by any means, but I didn't violate any traffic laws to be pulled over in the first place.

you gave him probable cause to pull you over...

he smelled liquor under your breath and from there he knew you was intoxicated..

just plead guilty or no contest....

LOL

Fuck yeah, I have known quiet a few people to get their cases dropped completely.

My DUI I blew a .18, got a good lawyer and had that shit dropped to a neg
-2. I could have gone to trial to try and win in court, but my lawyer gave me a 60/40 chance of winning based off the particular judge (he said if it was either of the other 2 judges it would have been 100% dropped). I decided to plead guilty on the neg-2 and not risk the 40% chance of going to court, losing and subsequently winding back up with a full DUI.
