It was good that they kept it predictable like the other Jason films. It's not like they were trying to win a fucking Oscar with it. Marcus Nispel directed it, and I'm fond of his gritty and hot atmosphere he portrays his characters in. He did a damn good job with the revamp of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and this is up there with the same. There was a lot to like about the movie IF you went into it expecting a slasher flick, and not an award winner.

You must be one of those die hard traditionalists that didn't want the film remade in the first place.

i swear to god i just got back from sav mart pharmacy and there was two stinky fucks in ICP clothing drinking those big ass rockstars asked me out the blue if i went to see it last night and "not to be intrusive,but what prescription was i fillin".....funny stuff

I havent seen it.. but some people just "dont get it". Your average movie goer who doesnt know horror or Friday the 13th/Jason probably just wont get it.. I mean, its a slasher flick. nothing more, nothing less. if you're expecting more, you're an idiot for choosing friday the 13 to go see lol.

Friday the 13th series is by far my favorite horror series yet i really cant bring myself to watch this in the theater im gonna wait for the screener

^ go to the theater, it was pretty fuckin good, that black fool had me rollin when he grabbed the pan as the shield lol. A lil suprised that beezy died tho, lots of great TIDDIES in it. that 1 beezy who had the perfect tids really did have great fuckin tiddies

just got back from watching it. i kinda had hope that the black guy was gonna live though. it was KINDA on some saw shit on how they bring some elements of the originals(like his moms head). overall i was satisfied. "where are you gun" lol

and still can't believe dude licked the magazine and the black dude was bout to whack off to a snowboarding magazine.

ok..here are my questions/concerns...

1. How well did these kids even know each other? they werent close enough to be friends..they seemed like associates...I thought homegirl was his girlfriend, but then he let her run off with the new guy....he then proceeds to f--k that other girl..that one guy punks the other about not driving his boat, but it wasnt on some "hey john, dont drive my s--t man...lol"..it was on some "drive my s--t and I f--k u up"....

2. Why would the main character guy think that his sister would be still alive AFTER his encounter with Jason? ok, you know this guy is slaughtering MF's by the dozen and without any hesitation, so WHY would u think he would have given your sister a pass? honestly, I would have said to myself "this nigga, is killing EVERYBODY..even the females so he must have killed my sister as well" and went home..

3. Dont throw Jason's FULL intact body in the lake...u had this nigga by a wood chipper..I would have start putting ALL bodies parts in that MF...lol..

Man some of yall trippin!! Stick to romantic comedies or some shit!! This is my shit and the movie was bomb!! I am the biggest fan of the original series and I was skeptical of a remake, but hype at the smaetime cause its my fav. Jason is the illest killer ever in a movie!! Myers & Freddy aint got shit on dude!! He kills in savage ways mane!! This fits along the lines as the others but like dude said its the new millenium and Jason is more fierce and more aggressive in pursuit!! I loved it and yes the opening sequence with the first set of campers was one of the best openings ever for a slasher flcik! The whole theatre clapped after that sequence and the "Friday The 13th" name appeared!! Go see it its the shit!! Got Em!!
