I saw it last night, and it rocked my fucking face.
A true modern day 80's slasher flick. Jason can run, and shows much more intelligence than in previous films, but it's a breath of fresh air to the franchise. This isn't the 80's anymore, and nobody's buying a walking monster that's always there before you are.
The screwdriver scene was too much for me, and you'll see why. Also, he doesn't use only his strength and machete to kill. He's versatile.
And it has one of the best opening sequences in a film I've ever seen. Pure dopeness.

It's pretty true to the original, and the chick that replaced Jamie Lee Curtis is fucking gorgeous.

You get the same plot line from previous films. It's a very predictable story arc, but you still get left with guessing who will die and how. though it's a "remake", it has more of a feel that it's a sequal to previous films when they were still good. This is no Jason X or Freddy vs. Jason.
It's hilarious, even when it doesn't try to be. The douche bag is searching for his pistol and he says "Where are you, gun?!?!" There's small stuff like that that makes it a laugh throughout.
Oh, and there are plenty of tiddies! Lots and lots of tiddies! That bitch Willa Ford, the former singer, shows her tits, and there's a basically softcore porn sex scene in the movie.

It was funny tho cuz this dude is fuckin his bitch and in the middle of fuckin he goes "u have spectacular boobs.....ur nipple alignment is perfect" ...... I wish I had more hands to give this movie a 4 thumbs down. There wasn't one good kill the while movie.
