cancled my cbable tv today because the free trial expired but was sorta hoping the retentions guy would hook me up with a good deal. i rang up after the last free trial and he gave me another 3 months free and also gave me way more data on my phone fore free.

this time i said i dont watch it enough to justify the cost and he said do you want to buy more channels and i said no so he said ok ill cancel it. fuck.

Cable is fucking stupid. The only reason I got Directv when I moved in to this house was because they gave me free NFL Sunday Ticket. Other than that it's on Comedy Central and Adult Swim 90% of the time.

yeah we get about 20 free channels here that i would end up watching anyway. 80% of the time if i saw something i wanted to watch while scrolling through i wouldnt even have that package. the box itself though worked great and so i kinda wanted it just for that, but not for 30 bucks a month.

lol 30 i don't even think that'd give you the most minimal basic cable package over here. That shits like 99-200

I think 30 gets you the channels you can get for free with a digital antenna; and you have to be a senior citizen or have some kind of poor people voucher thing or something

yeah the one i was getting free was an extra 6 channels or something for $20 more. the basic package is cheap but pretty useless.
