Papa johns used to be really really good back in like 99 - 2005, it was the pizza you ordered when you wanted gourmet stuff for a reasonable price. Their chicken tomato alfredo pizza was epic. Then of course they started cutting corners, making the crust thinner and using shittier toppings. They even just tried to sell this to people:

So basically they're still fronting as gourmet pizza and still have the "better ingredients, better pizza" slogan but they're full of shit
